Bike rides ended for two Innviertel residents at the hospital

A 55-year-old man from the Schärding area was without a helmet on the Ischlerbahn bike path in Zilling (Flachgau) on Saturday afternoon when he was passed and touched by another cyclist. The Innviertler fell, the other rider continued on his way without stopping. The wounded man from Upper Austria, who was drunk at 1.4 per thousand, was admitted to the Salzburg accident hospital.

That same afternoon, a 49-year-old electric cyclist from the Braunau district was injured in Aspach. The woman was on a gently sloping farm road in Aspach when she fell. Two neighbors heard their cries for help, provided first aid and notified rescuers. The woman was airlifted to Ried im Innkreis hospital.
