Officers from the Neukirchen Police Inspectorate were called in at the weekend to do something unusual. A local had discovered a snake on a hiking trail in the Pinzgau forest and took the immobile animal with him, until suddenly there were signs of life.
The Pinzgauer assumed that the snake was no longer alive and took it to Neukirchen. However, soon after, the reptile showed signs of life and the man notified the police.
Ball python in the “House of nature”
After contacting the veterinarian and specialists from the reptile department of the “House of Nature” in Salzburg, it was determined that it is a non-native ball python. It was recorded in the “House of Nature,” police announced today in a broadcast.
