BioMotion Technologies | First modular bioprinter
Hundreds of thousands of people around the world are waiting for the donor organ to save their lives and, sadly, we are far from meeting this need. Bioprinting aims to create cell-based 3D tissue models that behave like human body tissue.
Currently, it costs research institutes tens of thousands of euros and around four to six months to convert a single bioprinter. This is exactly the problem to be solved. The startup BioMotion Technologies, which was also part of the incubator at the Vienna University of Technology, has developed a cost-effective 3D bioprinter that reduces the time required for conversion from months to days. This highly modular bioprinter is intended to serve as an open R&D platform that can be quickly adapted to the needs of researchers. This structure ensures that future research questions that have not yet been asked can be answered.

Floorible | Fully automated and AI-enabled floor plan visualization and processing.
The Home Floorible takes a whole new approach to communicating a property’s potential. The team is developing software that can automatically recognize floor plan images or scans and then convert them into a digitized plan. These 2D plans are then provided by algorithms and a visualization is generated that brokers use for marketing purposes, for example in real estate advertisements.
Additionally, floorible creates a 3D model from the digitized floor plan, which is then made available to agents as a furnished 3D visualization. To fully cover the value chain, it is possible to immerse yourself in virtual reality with the help of software. The startup was also part of the incubator at the Vienna University of Technology.
