Two bodies were found in a sauna at a home in Hungary over the weekend. It is a couple from Upper Austria.
As reported by “ORF Upper Austria”, the two dead are Linz businessman Alfred Savel and his second wife. The 91-year-old had a second home in Tormafölde, western Hungary, and spent the last few months there due to the Corona crisis.
Neighbors finally informed Savel’s daughter Sunday night that her father and wife had been found dead in the sauna.
Arranged autopsy
Currently, the exact cause of death is not completely clear, but the couple may have died from carbon monoxide poisoning. An autopsy has already been ordered and the exact circumstances of the death will now be clarified.
Alfred Savel had founded his own glass factory in Linz at the age of 25. The company has been run by his daughter for several years.
