The national stock market closed yesterday with a slight plus. The ATX ended the day after an indecisive trade with a slight gain of 0.1% or 2,219.48 points. Like the rest of the European stock exchanges, a precise direction could not be taken. Economic data released that morning did not provide any support. Consumer prices in the euro zone have been falling again for several years in August, and mood in the industry has also clouded. By contrast, the mood in the US industry was better than expected. Highs on the ATX on Tuesday were AT&S with a 2.34% gain, closely followed by FACC with a 2.27% gain. The losers were Lenzing with minus 3.34% and Agrana with 3.04% less. In banks there was a slight increase for RBI (+ 0.27%) and BAWAG (+ 0.13%). Competitor Erste Group closed unchanged.
