Defense Minister Klaudia Tanner (ÖVP) plans to sell properties of the armed forces in Vienna. His cabinet indirectly confirmed the corresponding information from the FPÖ on Monday. His defense spokesman, Reinhard Bösch, has received information that barracks, official buildings and areas of the order of more than 500,000 square meters will be sold to the Bundesimmobiliengesellschaft (BIG). Bösch spoke of a “deterioration” that was of no use to the army.
