Apple also introduced two new laptops. the iPad Air 4, available from October for a price of 600 euros.

As well as that iPad 8 with iPadOS 14, available from Friday for about 330 euros.

With the new generation of iPhone coming later this year, Apple’s latest processor will be the first to move to the iPad Air. The A14 Bionic chip system is manufactured for the first time with frame widths of 5 nanometers, allowing higher performance in the same area. Meanwhile, Intel, the longtime chip leader, is struggling with the transition to lower frame widths.

The new iPad Air now has a much smaller bezel around the screen, similar to the more expensive iPad Pro. For the first time on an Apple device, it offers a fingerprint scanner on the power button, which, especially in times of pandemics, when you wear a mask often, can be easier than unlocking it using facial recognition.

Of course, we’ll take a closer look at both devices in the coming days and evaluate their performance for you.
