Once again, more than 800 new SARS-CoV-2 infections have been recorded in Austria in the last 24 hours. There were 813 cases in Austria, so the number of people actively infected on Saturday was 7,748 people.

Lower Austria recorded 955 active cases of Covid-19, 730 in Upper Austria and 701 in Tyrol. Styria reported 465 active cases on Saturday, Vorarlberg 395, Salzburg 174 and Burgenland 114.
Testing in Austria
Nationwide, more than 18,000 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours Epidemiological population records (EMS) registered. Compared to Friday, 18,134 PCR tests were added. 7,163 of them were in Vienna. 2,581 were recorded in Tyrol, 2,525 in Lower Austria.
