This is not a day without a record for new infections in Austria: With another 2,782 people infected with SARS-CoV-2 across Austria, a new record was recorded for a Sunday. The number of coronavirus infections in Vienna has increased by 686 cases in the last 24 hours. As a result, a total of 27,180 positive test results were released on Sunday, as announced by the city’s medical crisis team. There are currently 6,872 infected people in the federal capital.
