The coronavirus pandemic has now disrupted plans for expansion of England’s soccer leader Liverpool’s stadium.

The increase at the “Reds” home, Anfield Road, will be postponed for a year, coach Jürgen Klopp’s team said Monday. The work will now be completed in the summer of 2023 at the earliest.

In the end, the stadium should offer more than 61,000 fans instead of more than 54,000 fans.
