Just to give the clubs enough time to prepare for the upcoming season. Therefore, next Wednesday, April 15, a short-term meeting of the ÖFB Presidium will vote on how to proceed.
There is no solution with general satisfaction
If the championships are canceled, the individual key questions have yet to be clarified: Who will be promoted? Who descends? How are places assigned in the ÖFB Cup? Most clubs are in favor of the fact that cancellation is the best solution. However, it may not satisfy everyone, especially when it comes to ascending and descending. It will be important that there is a uniform and uncomplicated solution. The option to cancel without relegation or relegation seems very likely. The next season would start again with the same classification. Which then applies throughout Austria.
