The Ministry of Social Affairs has announced the new regulation to toughen CoV measures. Masks are now a must-see in the museum again.
The government is tightening the measures again due to the increase in the crown number. On Saturday night, Health Minister Rudolf Anschober (Greens) announced the regulation on the website.
Pools, museum and sporting event
It is now mandatory to wear a mask when visiting indoor sporting events, museums or swimming pools. The amendment to the so-called “COVID-19 Relaxation Ordinance” goes into effect Monday night at midnight.
The mask requirement spread to numerous areas. It applies to all retailers and all forms of customer contact, unless another protective device is available. Until now, you only had to wear a mask in supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, gas stations and public transport.
Museums, exhibitions, libraries, archives, and other recreational facilities for guests and staff when contacting customers in closed rooms are now also explicitly listed. Oral and nasal protection will also be mandatory when attending indoor sporting events. You need a mask in the pools, unless you are in the pool or in the showers.
One meter away when entering restaurants
There are also hardening in the catering sector. From the moment he enters a restaurant for the first time until he reaches the administration point, the customer must maintain a distance of at least one meter from other people who do not belong to his group of visitors. The same applies when leaving the restaurant. The curfew is still at one.
To avoid guests staying too close together in the restaurant sector, eating and drinking will only be allowed while sitting. However, there is no mask requirement for guests, only for staff.
As far as events go, it becomes clear once again that it is not necessary to wear mouth and nose protection when sitting with assigned and marked seats. However, if there are no assigned places, it must remain created. Events with more than 200 people must appoint a CoV officer and develop and implement a corresponding CoV prevention concept.
