There are currently 3,515 active corona cases in Austria, about half of them in Vienna (1,819). Here’s how it currently looks in the federal states:
According to the Interior Ministry, there have been 29,561 positive test results in Austria so far. As of today (September 7, 2020, 9:30 a.m.), 746 people in Austria have died as a result of the virus and 25,300 have recovered. Currently 163 people are in hospital treatment due to Corona and 29 of them are in intensive care units.
The ten additional deaths recorded are data cleansing. This historical adjustment affects a period beginning in late March through early September.
The new infections are divided between the federal states of Austria as follows:
Burgenland: 11
Carinthia: 4
Lower Austria: 56
Upper Austria: 33
Salzburg: 25
Steiermark: 32
Tyrol: 31
Vorarlberg: 23
Vienna: 75
3,515 active patients
According to the official Covid-19 panel of the Ministry of Health, there are currently 3,515 active corona cases in Austria. Most of the sick were reported to the ministry from the federal capital, here a total of 1,819 people are currently sick with Corona.
They are followed by Tirol (387), Lower Austria (354), Upper Austria (324), Styria (306), Salzburg (139), Vorarlberg (88), Burgenland (74) and Carinthia (24).
