Corona’s demonstration at Heldenplatz was disbanded by the police due to violations of Covid 19 requirements. There will also be announcements.
On Sunday, a recorded demonstration against the current crown measures of the federal government was held at Heldenplatz in Vienna with around 2,000 participants. As the photos and videos show, gaps and mouth-nose protection were largely dispensed with. Repeated requests by the police to adhere to the measures were evidently ignored, and the demonstration subsequently broke up.
After completion, two undisclosed spontaneous gatherings formed in the downstream river and then moved through the city on foot. The police accompanied the groups of people, which also caused temporary traffic disruptions. The two individual rallies finally met again at Heldenplatz and broke up around 5pm.

Due to massive violations of Covid-19 requirements during the meeting, as well as during the two unregistered rallies, according to the police, both the organizers and the numerous participants of the rallies are constantly being investigated and reported. Those persons will be informed in accordance with the Assemblies Act and the Covid 19 Measures Act.
