The 49-year-old man, who was seriously injured during formwork work at a construction site in Heiligenberg (Grieskirchen district) on Friday afternoon, succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
According to police, the 49-year-old man apparently wanted to disassemble a house basement formwork, but loosened a clamp too early to get buried under the formwork. His brother was able to free him with a crane. A large contingent of emergency services tried to save the 49-year-old man’s life. At the hospital, however, the man sadly died from his serious injuries, as announced by the police on Saturday afternoon.
