Terrible find Sunday night at Hugo-Wolf-Straße in Linz: a dead 20-year-old man lay on the road.

Around two in the evening, a 22-year-old from Linz drove his car on Hugo-Wolf-Strasse into the city. As the driver said in the transcript to the police, he noticed the lifeless body on the road. According to a transmission from the police press office, he evaded the sidewalk and drove home.

A few minutes later he returned to the place, the man was at number 41. In the immediate vicinity, the native of Linz noticed a party at a house. He informed the party guests there, asked for their help. Then five guests escorted him to the lifeless man on the street.

They provided first aid and called rescuers. At 2.27 am, the emergency doctor could only determine the death of the young man. As the police write, the dead man had serious head injuries.

The Linz prosecutor’s office ordered an autopsy on the body. The 22-year-old’s car was also seized. The police are now waiting for clues from the population. Perhaps someone heard screaming, an argument, or the noises of an accident on the street in question around 2 a.m.
