Doskozil’s successor Klaudia Tanner (VP) now has “all legal steps” controlled so that “the Austrian taxpayer gets his rights.”
Doskozil sued in 2017 on the “suspicion of fraudulent and fraudulent deception” regarding the purchase price and the ability to deliver the aircraft. The Republic, as a private party, joined the procedure with a loss of 183.4 million euros.
“No Resolution”
The court’s reasoning for recruiting in the first instance says: Airbus could have made deliveries at any time. The price of the accountant’s transaction costs in the purchase contract is also not unusual. There was no evidence of a deliberate act to test Airbus.
In February, an explosion from the United States triggered the cause again. There, Airbus admitted to judicial authorities that there had been irregularities in the Eurofighter deal in Austria. The Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (WKStA) continues to investigate about 60 people.
