The first rain in more than a month – weather

The meteorologists’ announcement gives farmers and others expecting rain a sigh of relief. Weather experts predict thunderstorms and isolated showers over the weekend, and more productive showers over the coming week. But the morning has already brought a little rain. In the morning thicker clouds passed over the northern side of the Alps, there were short rains.

Thunderstorms on the weekend

At the same time, however, extensive precipitation is still not expected until early next week. During the weekend, according to meteorologists, sometimes it is still sunny with some cloud fields and larger clusters. And locally, light showers and thunderstorms are expected.

Rainy days come during the week.

It will be cooler and wetter from Tuesday. Although there is still summer weather on Monday, the rains and thunderstorms start on Tuesday afternoon in Vorarlberg and slowly spread towards Innviertel and Upper Carinthia at night. On Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays it is possible to rain throughout Austria.
