Lenzing leaves the Quality Austria mask company. The Upper Austrian company announced it in a broadcast on Friday morning. An agreement was reached with Palmers on the transfer of the Palmers shares. To ensure continued existence according to the foundation, Lenzing initially waived the corresponding purchase price. This, in turn, should allow Palmers to provide society with more financial resources, it is said.
In addition, the management team will be recently appointed: Claudia Witzemann and Michael Schleiss, two experienced external executives, have been appointed CEOs of Hygiene Austria as of today. They should continue with the fundamental idea of producing inexpensive masks.
The quality of the masks was confirmed again by a new test carried out by the Gépteszt Institute of Hungary. Therefore, the future identification of Hygiene Austria FFP2 masks is ensured by the test number.
