Anna Gasser celebrates her second career World Cup victory in Slopestyle at the popular American ski resort Aspen!
The big air specialist prevails with 81.90 points, a clear advantage over the American Hailey Langland (72.30) and the Finnish Enni Rukajärvi (71.91). She scored the score in the first race, none of the competitors came close to this value in the next.
The Carinthian celebrated their only slopestyle success at the January 2017 World Cup in the Kreischberg. The remaining seven World Cup victories all come from Big Air.

At the Aspen World Championship, Gasser was still without a medal (slopestyle sixth, big air fourth).
“In the world championship I was so close with places four and six, so I entered the contest today with the intention of ‘all or nothing’. I am extremely happy that everything went so well and I’m back on the podium. . says Gasser.
With 145 points, he also leads the Slopestyle World Cup ahead of Jamie Anderson (USA / 140) and Langland (112).
The third and last competition of the season in this discipline will take place next weekend in Silvaplana, Switzerland. Gasser also leads the overall freestyle World Cup after his victory in Colorado.

Marcus Kleveland is unbeatable for men. The Norwegian, who won the slopestyle gold championship in Aspen last week, wins 87.58 points ahead of American Redmond Gerard (82.16) and Canadian Mark McMorris (81.90).
Austrian top Clemens Millauer missed entry to the final twelve and finished 19th in the final standings.
