Arsenal win their third straight game in the blizzard at West Bromwich and are slowly making headway after a weak start to the season. Mikel Arteta’s team beat the relegation candidate 4-0.
Star forward Aubameyang is dangerous for Arsenal twice in the early stages, first he falls for Bellerin (second minute) and after 15 minutes he simply misses from close range.
In the 23rd minute the moment had arrived: full-back Tierney penetrated hard into the penalty area and threw the ball from just over ten meters to drive to the far corner (23). The guests remain vigilant and score the second goal just five minutes later. After a wonderful play on Smith-Rowe, Lacazette and Saka, the latter only has to push the ball over the line from a few meters.
The home team is finding it extremely difficult to create opportunities for themselves and has to accept the final decision after an hour. Lacazette only hits a curious ping-pong goal and scores his second goal in the 64th minute. The French exploited a Tierney cross from close range.
With the victory, Arsenal moved up to eleventh place (23 points), West Brom only has eight points and has 19.
