According to a psychologist, celebrities must defend the corona vaccination to convince the skeptics.
The first corona vaccine is here, and there will be more later this year. In Austria, however, there is some skepticism among some people about the new vaccine that emerged last year. Conspiracy theorists suspect dark machinations anyway. So how can a large part of the population be convinced to get vaccinated?
Ulrike Schiesser, psychologist and expert on sects and esotericism, says in an interview with the “Kurier”: “When Andreas Gabalier says, yes, I will definitely get vaccinated, it has a greater effect than the thousandth discussion transmitted. If it is not vaccinated, we really have a problem “. The conspiracy theorists wouldn’t be contacted anyway, no matter what you do.
“Egocentric society”
He explains his skepticism towards vaccination in general with the fact that in “our egocentric society” the body itself has become a “temple” in which only “the good and the noble” can enter. “The glorification of the ‘natural’ versus the chemical is an expression of a satisfied and prosperous society,” said Schiesser. Because it would be natural to die of polio.
But also many people who are still skeptical are going to be vaccinated, in the opinion of the expert, “if the issue becomes something natural, if many people in their circle of acquaintances are vaccinated, it works without complications.”
