“The rifle was seized and a temporary weapons ban was imposed,” the executive reported. According to information from the police, charges were brought to the Wiener Neustadt prosecutor’s office for dangerous threats.

“I think it is terrible that this incident happened, but I am very happy that there were no injuries,” Mayor Bernhard Brunner (ÖVP) said in an opening statement.
