On Tuesday afternoon, the police observed how several people went to a pizzeria on Kaiser Ebersdorfer Strasse. Since officials already suspected that an event was taking place there, they called the emergency measures group of the Vienna City Council. Around 3pm, they went through the restaurant together.

Authorities discovered that an extended Serbian family was holding a celebration: a total of 35 adults and eight children celebrated at the restaurant. No one wore mouth and nose protection, no one kept a distance from other guests. In addition, the kitchen of the pizzeria was in operation and the waiter was on duty.

According to the police, there were a total of 141 reports under the Covid 19 Measures Law. The immediate action group also issued several announcements under the Tobacco Law, the Consumer Tax Law and the Road Traffic Law and dissolved the event.
