A 28-year-old man from the Imst district (Tirol) is said to have killed his two daughters at the age of five months and two years on Monday afternoon.

In a single-family house in Längenfeld in Ötztal Tyrol it’s Mondays killed two girls aged nine months and two years state. The 28-year-old father is considered a suspect, the LKA director said. Katja tersch the APA at night. The two young children were “forcibly killed against the neck,” Tersch said.
The girls were found in the rooms of their two sons. The father apparently attempted suicide. He was admitted to the Zams hospital. “His life is out of danger,” Tersch said.
Initially, the exact background was unclear. According to police, the 28-year-old was not officially known. There was no entry ban or anything like that.
