On Monday, 1,592 new corona infections were reported in Austria.

Within 24 hours of Monday (starting at 9:30 a.m.) after the Christmas holidays, 1,592 new infections with the coronavirus were reported in Austria.
So far, 353,484 positive results have been obtained in Austria. As of today (December 28, 2020, 9:30 a.m.), 5,931 people in Austria have died as a result of the coronavirus and 326,768 have recovered. Currently, 2,510 people are in hospital treatment for the coronavirus and 421 of them are in intensive care units.
