Traunkirchen: hiker injured in a fall

On December 26, 2020, around 12 noon, a 55-year-old woman from the Wels-Land district and her 56-year-old husband walked with their two daughters in the Traunkirchen municipality along the toboggan run to Hochsteinalm.

After the attention of the mountain rescue doctor, the 55-year-old man was transported on a stretcher about 200 m up the steep slope of the summit and a high forest to the forest road, delivered to the rescue team around 3 : 20 pm and taken to the Salzkammergut Gmunden Clinic.
