On Christmas Eve night, the purchase of a game console on Vienna’s Landstrasse was not Christmas at all. The private seller pulled out a knife when a dispute developed over the missing invoice.

The private sale of a game console intensified on Christmas Eve in Vienna-Landstrasse. A 43-year-old and a 16-year-old wanted to buy a Playstation 5 from a 35-year-old on Lechnerstrasse. The agreement was designed through an online platform. According to police spokesman Christopher Verhnjak, the seller was unable to produce an invoice, leading to a dispute.

WEGA arrested the man

The 35-year-old man pulled out a knife and threatened customers with killing them. They notified the police, the aggressor fled to a residential building, where the executive located him. With the support of the Vienna Task Force Alarms Department (WEGA) and the reserve unit, the man was arrested without resistance.
