In the massive tests throughout Austria in early and mid-December, turnout remained well below expectations. Shortly before Christmas, however, there is a quick rush to the testing centers. Capabilities are expanding in many places. In Vienna alone there were almost 90,000 registrations as of Monday through January 7. Rapid tests have been conducted at the stadium since Monday; registration is required.
