The 1-0 victory in Südstadt was already Rapid’s ninth consecutive victory against Admira. Those from Lower Austria hibernate at the bottom of the list.
Rapid could look forward to a successful end of the year. Hütteldorfer celebrated an indisputable 1-0 win at the start of Matchday 12 of the Bundesliga and improved from fourth to third place in the table for at least one matchday. Rapid returned to winning ways in Bundesliga match 150 with Admira after three competitive matches without a win and two losses in a row. Südstädter spent the winter after seven defeats in the last eight rounds as the bottom of the table.
