According to Federal Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, the police will “randomly” check from January 18, 2021 if the corona tests required to visit cultural events, hotels or restaurants have been performed.

When asked, Kurz would not say if the same restricted voluntariness will also apply to upcoming corona vaccines. Here he “does not want to anticipate.” When it comes to vaccination, the first thing to do is to vaccinate people over 85 and at risk groups as soon as possible.
Nehammer announces intensive police checks
Interior Minister Karl Nehammer (ÖVP) also announced intensive police checks to monitor applicable entry regulations before Christmas, including quarantine. 2,000 soldiers will also be deployed for this purpose.
