In the last 24 hours, 2,085 new coronavirus infections were reported in Austria. 5,127 people have died as a result of the virus so far.
So far there have been 334,913 positive results in Austria. As of today (December 18, 2020, 9:30 a.m.), 5,127 people in Austria have died as a result of the coronavirus and 297,424 have recovered.
There are currently 3,073 people in hospital treatment for coronavirus and 495 of them are in intensive care units.
Almost 2,100 new Covid cases reported in Austria
New infections since the last report are distributed among the Austrian federal states as follows:
- Burgenland: 84
- Carinthia: 161
- Lower Austria: 423
- Upper Austria: 297
- Salzburg: 139
- Steiermark: 253
- Tyrol: 184
- Vorarlberg: 103
- Vienna: 441
