Defending champions Salzburg and Austria last met in the semi-finals of the 2015/16 season, the “Bulls” winning 5-2 at home. “It’s not easy. We always play against a first-division team,” Salzburg manager Jesse Marsch said immediately after the 6-2 knockout win over Rapid.
