Successful comeback: Domme Paris wants to give it back to Val Gardena
Val d’Isère – South Tyrolean ski racer Dominik Paris had to wait a long time for his return to the Ski World Cup. This weekend the time had finally come. After finishing 16th in the Super-G on Saturday, he finished 10th in the downhill race in Val d’Isère, France, which was surprisingly won by Slovenian Martin Cater.
Paris, who lost 62 hundredths of a second in the tabloid, was satisfied. By his own admission, he has regained his confidence and feelings from the past year a bit. It was a good race for him. Also, South Tyrol believes that every race will be better. Even if no targets are set for the 2020/21 World Cup season, he wants to go full throttle at home races in Val Gardena and start aggressively.
For sprinters, it goes straight to Val Gardena (ITA), where there will be a Super-G and a downhill on the Saslong.
