The Innsbruck Tivoli was the scene of the meeting between SV Wacker Innsbruck and SV Licht Loidl Lafnitz. As is well known, the Tyrolese wanted to play for promotion, so everything was set for victory today. The Styrian table leader, in turn, did his best to end the successful fall season in Hpybet’s second league with a point of three. In a rather mixed game at the beginning, both teams improved in the end. In the end, the hosts prevailed 1: 4 and SV Wacker Innsbruck will now have to cut their goals for the season. Arnes Talic, Jasmin Sabanovic and Markus Reichholf were the referees.
SV Lafnitz is the team of the hour and deserves the winter as fall champions
The game owed a lot in the early stages. Both teams tried to build the game, but the ball only passed from one edge of the penalty area to the next. The long balls from the Oststeirer were initially not a threat to the Innsbruck defense. The Tyrolese put in a lot of effort, but not a single ball was lost in the box and scoring opportunities were rare. A beautifully executed free kick by Mario Kröpfl in the 20th minute was the only gain in the first half hour. But then the course of the game should change, a player from Innsbruck was illegally knocked down in the penalty area. The referee couldn’t help but point to the penalty spot. The Tyrolean captain straightened the ball and put the penalty on the left crossbar. Now the Innsbruckers wanted to know and gave away some leadership opportunities, but the guests were more efficient. In the 37th minute there was a good cross to Martin Krienzer, the Lafnitzer screwed up and headed the leather from close range towards the net. To Innsbruck’s chagrin, it was now 0: 1. Just two minutes later, Daniel Gremsl ran towards Innsbrucker Tor and Darijo Grujcic brought the Styrian to his feet. The referee had no mercy and immediately showed him the red card for his savage attack. After 46 minutes, both teams entered the break.
Efficiency prevailed against Innsbruck: Lafnitz scored four goals
After a hectic few minutes in the final phase of the first half, Innsbruck took over in the second half. Apparently, they had now processed the exclusion of his teammate. The game itself was completely crushed, if viewers had been allowed they would certainly have been bored. In the 62nd minute something happened that determined the game. After an attack by the Tyrolese, Lafnitz began a counterattack. Daniel Gremsl refueled until just before the 16 and put the ball over Krienzer there. Despite the less than ideal trajectory, he struck the ball wonderfully over goalkeeper Marco Knaller to make it 2-0. This hit apparently woke up the locals, because the game was picking up speed. Fabio Viteritti took a free kick, actually from a not particularly dangerous position, in the direction of Lafnitz’s goal. The ball went straight to goalkeeper Andreas Zingl, who did not stay calm and threw the ball over himself into the goal. An important connecting goal to 1: 2 at this stage for FC Wacker Innsbruck. The jubilation did not last long, however, in the 76th minute Mario Kröpfl accepted the invitation of the Innsbruck defense and sank the game device into the mesh at 1: 3. Now the leaders of the table had smelled a wick of the brand green – in the 81st minute the ball was twisted again in the net – Mario Kröpfl put after a Korner to 1: 4. That was the end result, SV Licht Loidl Lafnitz prevailed as a more efficient team and thus took the crown autumn.
