Preparations by the city of Salzburg, the Red Cross, the Armed Forces, the volunteer fire brigade and the police, as well as individual locations, have been in full swing in recent days. Next weekend, Friday 11th and Saturday 12th December, the massive crown events of the city of Salzburg will take place in the Salzburg Exhibition Center, in Terminal 2 of the Airport and in the Congress House. In the exhibition center, a total of 55 test lanes will be installed in halls 1, 2/6 and 10, where Salzburg residents will be able to test.

The state of Salzburg tests the population for the corona virus from Friday to Sunday. Now the list with all test locations has been published.
No registration for bulk testing
You do not need to register in advance to take the exam. You must bring your electronic card and identification to register on the site. Do not forget the mandatory protection for the mouth and nose. Important for everyone tested: only those who tested positive will receive a call after the first test to proceed to a PCR test.
Use of public transport for arrival and departure is strongly recommended. If necessary, Salzburg AG will reinforce bus lines to test locations so that passengers do not get too close. In addition, during the test period from 8 am to 6 pm, a 15-minute shuttle service will run from the Kleßheim stadium parking lot to the exhibition center and the airport.

- If the rapid test is positive, the person will be contacted by phone the same day and informed about the further procedure. Another test follows to confirm the result. The exact time is communicated by phone, the authorities are actively reporting. Until a result applies: Go into self-isolation.
- If the authorities don’t call the same day, the test result is negative. However, the usual hygiene rules apply to avoid infection.
