HCB Südtirol Alperia extended their championship lead with a clear victory over HC TIWAG Innsbruck. After Innsbruck played five straight away games and finished with a positive record, they suffered a defeat in their first home game.

The game started with a real score. Almost every minute there were reasons to cheer on the cracks, especially the Foxes, who won the first third with 5: 2. After that, both goals seemed nailed and the game ended with the same result as in the opening period. Brett Findlay scored twice for the South Tyrolese. In the table, Bolzano are now two points ahead of second-placed Viennese, who nonetheless played two more games.
