A total of 11,610 employees of the Ministry of the Interior, that is, 29.7 percent of employees, have voluntarily submitted to the corona virus test in the last two days. As announced by the Interior Ministry on Tuesday, the 39,154 employees had received more than 100 test roads. Interior Minister Karl Nehammer (ÖVP) was delighted with the “great turnout”.

“I am proud that nearly 30 percent of all employees voluntarily took the test after just two days. That shows that police officers and administrative staff are setting a good example,” Nehammer said. Employees of the Ministry of the Interior still have the opportunity to be evaluated on December 9 and 10, 2020 and, in the second test phase, from December 14 to 18, 2020.
