Co-driver grabbed the wheel during training: total loss

[ad_1]

At the wheel of the car, it was Sunday lunchtime, a 41-year-old man from Linz wanted to gain driving experience as part of his driver’s license training. He drove the car in Neuhofen an der Krems on Marchtrenker-Landesstrasse. There the driver wanted to turn left. He stopped, but gave too much gas as he walked away. The car accelerated, so the passenger hit the parking brake and grabbed the wheel. His car turned a 360-degree curve and then went through the fence of a car dealership. There he crashed into the parking lot against a used car for sale and two masts from the dealership.

Due to the force of the impact, the car parked there was pushed back about a meter despite the gear being engaged and the parking brake set. The two flagpoles were toppled and overturned on two used cars. There was a total loss to Linzer’s car and, in some cases, serious damage to parked cars. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
