In North Tyrol, the dangerous situation was classified as less extreme. But here, too, there is sometimes a level 4 above the treeline, that is, a high avalanche danger. In western Carinthia, there is an avalanche warning level 4 in the Gailtal and Carnic Alps, as well as the Carnic and Hohe Tauern Alps.
