Despite Corona’s restrictions, the Tyrolean police had to do with three Krampusses on Friday in Längenfeld in the Ötztal. One of them attacked the officers with a stick.

When officers wanted to determine the identity of the masked men, after they had been called up for a so-called “Krampus race,” they simply moved on. One of them, a 19-year-old young man, cursed the police, put a stick on them and ran away.

He first jumped onto an adjacent frozen bed. A short time later, the 19-year-old was found in a single-family home because of the footprints he had left in the snow. There, according to the executive, he again behaved extremely aggressively and fled again. Finally he was arrested near the house.

The young man was reported for resisting state authority, various administrative violations and violations under the Covid-19 Emergency Measures Ordinance.
