As ski jumpers visit Kuusamo, two other Austrian ski jumpers, Stefan Kraft and Michael Hayböck, will test positive for the corona virus. The ÖSV draws the right conclusions.

As announced by the Austrian Ski Association (ÖSV) on Saturday, after the record World Cup winner Gregor Schlierenzauer and his teammate Philipp Aschenwald and head coach Andreas Widhölzl, the World Cup winners Stefan Kraft and Michael Hayböck have now also tested positive for Covid-19. Both are so far without symptoms.

After the first infections became known after the start of the World Cup in Wisla, the athletes went into quarantine and are canceled for the current weekend of the World Cup in Kuusamo. As confirmed by ÖSV, Kraft and Hayböck will not be in Nizhny Tagil (Russia) next weekend. The focus continues to be the World Ski Flight Championships in Planica from December 10-13.

Also interesting: Besides Austria, another team is affected by the corona virus. After a Russian ski jumper tested positive, the entire team is now in quarantine.
