Since November 25, International Day Against Violence Against Women and Girls, Oberpullendorf City Hall and Mitterpullendorf Church have been shining an orange light, until December 10, International Human Rights Day. Statistics show how important it is to raise public awareness on this issue in Austria: 20 percent of all Austrian women aged 15 years and over have already been affected by physical and / or sexual violence. 35 percent of all women in Austria have already been sexually harassed.
