The start of the season for the Linz Black Wings went completely wrong, but now, 2 days before the performance against HCB of all venues, they have made a strong statement.

With the Bratislava Capitals and the 1992 Black Wings, two teams from the ICE Hockey League achieved a surprise on Tuesday.
The Slovaks won 2: 1 against EC-KAC. Upper Austria achieved their first victory after five losses in a row in a 3-1 win at home to the Vienna Capitals. They landed the long-awaited release before the match against HC Bozen on Thursday (8.15pm). Supported by the chants of the fans that could be heard over the loudspeakers, the Austrian Highs performed significantly better against the Caps than the last time they played 3-0 at home against HCB.
In the third game of the day, HC Innsbruck celebrated a clear 6-2 away win in the West Derby against the Dornbirn Bulldogs.
