A 29-year-old from the municipality of St. Aegyd am Neuwalde, Lilienfeld district, was terrorized by an initially unknown person between January 4 and February 11, 2020. He was even shot at his bedroom window.

In early January, the entrance area of ​​the 29-year-old’s apartment was sprayed with paint and on February 6 the tires of the car parked in front of the house were burned and damaged with chimney lighters.

The acts of terrorism continued with a shotgun blasting the 29-year-old’s bedroom window on February 11, 2020 at around 3:15 a.m. The resident remained in an adjoining room and was unharmed. The search for the unknown author was initially unsuccessful.

The dispute as a reason for the facts

After a lengthy investigation, the police were able to investigate a 29-year-old from the Lilienfeld district as a suspect and arrest him on May 26, 2020. He has confessed to property damage, attempted arson, dangerous threats with firearms and endangering physical security. The crimes were likely preceded by a dispute between the accused and the victim some time ago. The 29-year-old was admitted to a prison.
