Due to several cases of Covid-19, the WAC was only able to train with a handful of players during the international break. At first the guests seemed lacking in energy, but after a weaker first half, Feldhofer’s team gained momentum after the break. Thanks to a header from Eliel Peretz (73rd), who had just been substituted, and a counterattack from Dario Vizinger (79th), the increase in performance was deservedly rewarded with three points.
The start came from Altach’s side with a long-range shot from Emanuel Schreiner (3rd), which was saved by goalkeeper Manuel Kuttin, and the danger from the back corner remained promising.
