FC Liefering still laughs from the top of the table in the 2nd division after the international break! Salzburg celebrate a clear 6-1 home win against Kapfenberg on matchday 10.
Liefering made a tailor-made start and took the lead in the second minute: Benjamin Sesko found himself after Adamu’s preparatory work. Alois Oroz rose to 2-0 in the 22nd minute. After helping Alexander Prass, Maurits Kjaergaard secured the 3-0 and thus the preliminary decision immediately before the break.
After switching sides, Kapfenberg scored the next goal through Leo Mikic (54th), but Oroz regained the three-goal lead with his second goal (70th). Luka Reischl (89º) and Csaba Bukta (90º). seal with late blows for runaway victory.
Liefering claimed first place with a seventh win in game 10, one point ahead of SV Lafnitz. Kapfenberg remains in relegation 14th with eight points.
