But behind Giuliani is a sign that reads, “Various Paths to Victory,” including states in red that Trump can supposedly still win. Over the course of his speech, Trump’s sweaty attorney wiped dark paint across his temples, apparently it was hair dye. You can imagine the reactions on social media.
What Giuliani says is reminiscent of Iraqi Information Minister Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf, who in 2003, shortly before the victory of US troops in Iraq, declared: “Baghdad is safe. Hundreds of unbelievers commit suicide at the gates of the city ”. Saddam Hussein’s main propagandist went down in history as “The comic Ali.” Guliani said there was massive evidence that the November 3 elections were misled. Republican inspectors have been consistently prevented from doing their job. “This is not a single case of electoral fraud in any state,” he says. Rather, it all speaks for the fact that there was a sophisticated plan to steal the victory.
Lots of claims, no proof
The only problem is: this afternoon Giuliani is still guilty of solid evidence for all of this. Donald Trump doesn’t have to worry about that. The president’s strategy is simple. He’s working on the myth that an unscrupulous Democratic party tricked him into not winning the election, and that infidel Republicans stabbed him in the back. That has nothing to do with reality. But that doesn’t matter as long as enough American citizens believe the lie: Nearly 70 percent of Republican voters now say they are concerned the election has been rigged.
The question is why Giuliani is playing this dirty game. He was once a man with a reputation to lose. Giuliani served as mayor of New York for eight years. He rejected crime in the city and succeeded in giving New Yorkers courage and confidence after the attacks of September 11, 2001. The Giuliani myth arose from the ruins of the World Trade Center and became the most famous mayor in the world, the “Mayor of the United States”. And shortly before the November 3 election, Giuliani once again provided a New York tabloid with dirty stories about the candidate’s son that no serious media wanted to touch.

But the garbage that Giuliani throws out stuck to him. The mayor of the United States became a joke. When comedian and filmmaker Sacha Baron Cohen released his new movie “Borat” in the fall, in which Giuliani is first interviewed by a young woman and then lured into the bedroom by the fake reporter (“Shall we have a drink at? bedroom? “), the tease is great, but no one is surprised by Giuliani. It is the image of a man that most Americans already have in Giuliani’s head.

Like the president, Giuliani is in danger of going to jail if Joe Biden takes power in Washington.
