Altmaier responds that he represents his voters. “They are welcome to demonstrate, but my conscience is clear.” According to information from dpa, the recording is authentic and documents a scene that took place in the Bundestag on Wednesday.

People were wearing a visitor’s pass and therefore had to be registered by a member of parliament or a parliamentary group. “Harassing and threatening people is the AfD ploy,” Kuhle WELT said of the incident. The Bundestag administration confirmed the incident with Altmaier on the “T-Online” portal. It will be reviewed. The identity of the interferer is not yet known.
Attacks on parliamentarians are feared
The Bundestag voted on Wednesday for a new amendment to the Infection Protection Act.
