After a Viennese jeweler was found dead in his Landstrasser Hauptstrasse shop, the police have released the first pictures.
The victim lay lifeless in the window. It was a crime that shocked the whole of Vienna and the many acquaintances and friends of the 74-year-old jeweler. This was discovered by passers-by on October 14, initially thought to be a botched robbery or even an execution.
Now it was clear that the act was a robbery. It is not yet clear why the owner of the company had to die. The alleged perpetrators were recorded by a surveillance camera near Rochusmarkt after killing the jeweler with several stab wounds.
Brand clothes
The Vienna police have now released the photos from the surveillance camera, as well as the photos of the clothes that the perpetrators had worn. After the crime, one of the men wore the black and white sweatpants shown in the photos and a red “SPAR shopping bag.” Both men wore only designer clothes, which were discarded after the crime.

5,000 euro reward
The “Association of Friends of the Vienna Police” also offered a reward of 5,000 euros for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.
